Brief Description:
Fighters are your typical front liner. They are able to tank or dish out damage themselves. They are capable of using heavy armor which makes them tougher. Fighters are capable of wielding many types of weapons that extends their use even further. They are a very versatile class that can switch from offense to defense or fight either close-quarter or long ranged.
Stance Analysis:
Escrima - (+15% Attack Speed, +15% Evasion) - Dagger Fighters are okay. They don't really shine at latter levels but pretty good in the early levels. Dagger allows the fighter to gain Evasion. Though daggers have overall a low damage output, it gives a boost on Attack Speed and Critical Rate. With this stance, the fighter attack thrice which is very good early leveling stance. Escrima also allows for counter attack which is executed by using a skill right after a parry or when the target monster is casting up a spell/skill. Late game, it quickly loses out to other stance due to its weak damage and little stat bonus.
Rapier
Epee Garde - (+16% Attack Speed, +20% Crit Rate) - Epee Garde is one of the best stance for a fighter. It has good Attack Speed bonus and excellent Crit Rate to go with. Rapier itself can deal small AoE damage when monsters are really close by which is very useful. It also executes to hits per attack. Epee Garde is a very offensive oriented stance which is your best if you want to rack up good damage per second. It also has cheap SP costs on skills which makes it a really good PVP (Player Vs Player) or CW (Colony War) stance.
Sabre Garde - (+8% Attack Speed, +15% Evasion) - Sabre Garde is the defensive counter part of the offensive-oriented Epee Garde. Sabre Garde really shines with its evasion bonus, allowing the fighter to be able to tank as well as High guard or Back guard. It can be argued that it is a much better tanking tool because it allows the fighter to dish out good amount of damage as well. Rapier stance shines because you can easily switch from a defensive to an offensive stance anytime.
Saber
Middle Guard - (+25% Attack Speed, +8% Crit Rate) - Middle Guard is the fighter's only stance to access the use of Sabers. It is an offensive stance that is focused on dealing big damage and fast. Sabers are stronger than Swords and so most people would go for this stance instead. It's a good Early level stance. The Middle Guard skill allows you to hit flying units and dish good damage on one or more target but the downside is that it's rather costly on the SP part which you'll scarcely have early on.
Sword / Sword + Sword / Sword + Shield / Sword + Pistol
Back Guard - (3% Attack Speed, +13 Block) - Back Guard is a fighter's default stance. It is a very basic stance which can be used with a Sword and/or a Shield. The stance is decent on the early goings of the game. It has a small AoE skill that has can knock back enemies which is good in early levels of the game. Being able to equip a shield in the early stages allows your fighter to tank and survive mobs very well.
High Guard - (+24 Block) - The second stance that allows you to equip shield. High Guard is the fighter's bread and butter stance. They shine and standout from everyone else because of their amazing ability to tank with this stance. The stance has a skill called Guardian which further increases your tanking capability. PvP or CW-wise this stance allows your fighter to last even with the bombardments coming from blind spots. High Guard also allows you to solo a boss/mini-boss while the other chars dish out the damage. An extremely powerful defensive stance which you should get for your fighters.
Hack and Slash - (+15% Attack Speed, +10 Crit Rate, +10 Block) - Hack and Slash is your first real offensive stance that can last till mid-end level of the game (end level refers to you reaching around 90-vet level). Hack and slash allows you to spam skills left and right. Being able to equip two swords allows you to reach a good amount of Attack Speed allowing you to regain the lost SP from spamming skills. It is also a good early-mid game PvP stance because of its high damaging skills. The stat bonus is pretty decent too.
Heaven or Hell - (+30% Attack Speed, +6% Crit Rate) - Heaven or hell is the coolest looking stance in the game, due to the popularity of sword and guns from the DMC series. Heaven or Hell (HoH) boast off its amazing attack speed. It hits thrice - twice with the sword and one shot from the pistol - making it perhaps the most damaging stance in the game. The crossover of a sword and a pistol allows you to get a more distinct combination of either damage or speed. Heaven or Hell is a very good PvE stance which can be used for PvP as well (though I don't see a lot of people using it there, it is still possible). HoH also has a spammable pistol skill that can be used like a normal attack to hit flying units.
Pistol
Freestyle Shot - (+25 Accuracy, +16% Attack Speed, +6% Crit Rate, +5% Evasion) - Freestyle Shot allows the fighter to equip a pistol. Though the stance bonus is pretty good, fighters are not really suppose to depend on this stance. AFK Leveling-wise, this allows you to camp in spots where you won't risk your fighter getting into trouble. Pistols are great for AFK training but when Actively training they're weak and the skills aren't very damaging at the hands of a fighter.
Double-Guns Shot - (+35 Hit Probability, +20% Attack Speed, +5% Evasion) - Double-Gun Shot Stance is actually a very useful pistol stance. The stance allows you to deal more damage using two pistols which in turn allows for more attack speed or damage modifiers. The skills in this stance looks really awesome but requires a little skill so the skill will be maximized. A very decent AFK stance though you'd find trouble getting two good pistols.
Great sword
Plow Guard - (+15% Attack Speed, +12% Crit Rate, +10 Block) - Plow Guard is a very balanced stance that offers a attack speed with the ability to deal critical hits and block few attacks. It has the one of the most damaging skill against bosses which is Vertical Slash. Paired with Skyliner, a decent AoE skill that does not need any casting time and features a sure knock back attack. The skills are also spammable but since GS is relatively slow in Attack Speed, recovering the lost SP isn't as fast as other stances.
Roof Guard - (+30% Attack Speed, +6% Crit Rate) - Roof Guard is an offensive version of Great Sword stance. It offers the fighter high attack speed rate with a decent critical punch. This makes the stance very damaging. It has an AoE attack that requires a little aiming but when you master it is devastating. Fury is another skill from Roof Guard that boosts your move speed and attack speed. Roof guard is a decent Great Sword stance, use it if you get a good Great Sword for PvE.
Pole Arms
Blandir Cruz - (+25% Attack Speed, +10% Crit Rate, +10% Block) - Blandir Cruz is an amazing stance that has a wide AoE range with normal attack. It has only three skills in the stance and all three skills are very useful. Blandir Cruz stance is a good balance of offense and defense, getting a nice block rate and being able to deal AoE damage with normal attack is just special. This is perhaps the best mob-control stance because of its highly AoE oriented skills. The only downside of Pole Arms is that it has a penalty on most medium type monsters. Overall, Blandir Cruz is a good stance that can deal decent damage to mobs at a favorable speed. It can be used in PvP as well because all skills got knock back ability.
