The Heal Calculation Theory

Everyone is so intrigued with what certain stat does and to what extent does it affect your character's battle performance. The arrival of Premium Items allows everyone a sneak peak or at least to create theories on what certain stat does. Veterans who receives an extra 1-point of stat to be dumped on any attribute allows those people to experiment and come up with what certain stat does. Thus, a need to settle how to increase the healing power of those with the skill arouse.

Guiltycross from the GE forums came up with the following on how to calculate heals:

Heal = Heal Level * (DEX + INT) / 12

To further explain, a non-veteran scout that has a total of 7 DEX and 5 INT with level 10 Heal can replenish 1124 HP. When you do the computation Heal is equal to 1124 times the total of DEX and INT which is 12 divided by 12. Obviously, the twelve is canceled out leaving the total value of 1124.

Let's take Emilia as an example. She has 5 DEX and6 INT. She should be healing more since she has 1 INT more than the stock scout.
Using the equation, it should come out to be 1012 HP (rounded to the nearest ones). After testing the theory out, plain Emilia can only heal 1046 HP at Heal level 10. (With 34 HP difference)

On one hand, there's Emilia the Sage which has 5 DEX and 8 INT. Theoretically speaking she should be healing 1236 HP, after testing her out she can heal 1242 HP at Heal level 10. There's a 6 HP difference with the equation and the actual test. Tested on an Emilia the Sage with Heal level 9, her heal shows similar effect healing
1124 HP as well.

Lastly, a Vet Scout who allocated 1 on Dex should be healing somewhere around Emilia the Sage's actual heal numbers or even near the theoretical heal. As a result, he was able to heal 1202 HP which is a -34 HP difference. This goes to show that it is most probable that INT has more weight in calculating the total heal than the DEX stat. Another theory is that every character has different base heal or something.

I'm currently training my Soho to try out the calculation. He has 6 DEX and 3 INT which should allow him to only heal 843 HP. I'll update another post on this as soon as I get my Soho ready.
