Granadosource's take:
PvE-wise, Heaven or Hell stance has high DPS which is good. You can get more Attack Speed bonus from Pistols as you can from swords so it's another plus. Heaven or Hell is also very versatile as it can be used to attack airborne enemies. Though you need to spam the "Pistol Shot" skill as the normal attack of the stance can only hit non-airborne monsters. One problem with such offensive stance is that it doesn't have any good AoE skill. Raging Hell requires a little bit of practice to be fully utilized.
In terms of PvP, Heaven and Hell is above-average with a couple of skills that is quite useful. Deadly Infinitum is perhaps the best skill for this stance as it is very damaging at a reasonable SP cost and Recharge time. You can alternate from Slash Down and DI to keep your opponent down. Slash Down, is very spammable and offers an good Knockback. Grind Cutter is so-so but also offers knockback. It could be a bit useful if you can get to level 11 of that skill other than that it's primarily used to knockback enemies.
You can actually max everything by branching out to other stances for the shared skills like Slash Down (in High Guard, etc..) and Grind Cutter (in Middle Guard). A tip to new players is that go max Deadly Infinitum first as it is Heaven and Hell's most damaging skill, Pistol Shot and Slash Down (if you haven't maxed this from other stances) is also worth maxing.
